Dosin' with Moses

Minds were blown this week when Benny Shanon, a professor of cognitive psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem wrote in the Time and Mind Journal of Philosophy, that Moses was probably under the influence of a hallucinogenic plant during his time on Mt. Sinai. Shanon explained that 2 plants in the Sinai desert are psychoactive and similar to the Amazonian hallucinogen Ayahuasca! He went on to say that much of the story coincided closely with visions and effects commonly associated with usage of a strong psychedelic substance. Who knew Moses tripped?

While Biblical scholars cried foul and no proof of this assertion is liable to be found the supernatural story is also impossible to prove. However the use of psychedelic plants is not unheard of in ancient history and even current primitive cultures.

Joining us on the show is Josh Sonstroem from MAPS, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies to help us sort through the misinformation regarding psychedelics and to address their history of use and positive healing properties.

Exopolitics, the Media, and Stephenville Pt. 3

Exopolitical pioneer, Dr. Michael E. Salla returns to Dark Matter to update us on continuing drama and high strangeness surrounding the Stephenville, Texas ufo sightings. Recent articles by Dr. Salla reveal that reporter Angelia Joiner has been fired from her job at the local paper, the Empire-Tribune and eye witness Ricky Sorrells is undergoing intimidation and harassment by what seems to be possibly the military.

Meanwhile, the sightings continue and the media coverage has gone from unusually fair to more muted as the story progresses. We will discuss with Dr. Salla the nature of the media coverage on this event in comparison with other sightings and what it may mean for the future or even partial disclosure.

Dr. Salla is the founder of the Exopolitics Institute.

The Institute was created to simultaneously provide support for scholars engaged in exopolitical research, whistleblowers disclosing information about covert projects allegedly involving extraterrestrials or their technology, and/or individuals claiming to have experienced extraterrestrial contact.

Jim Marrs has been a featured speaker at national ufo conferences including the Annual International UFO Congress and the Annual Gulf Breeze UFO Conference. Publisher's Weekly described Alien Agenda as "the most entertaining and complete overview of flying saucers and their crew in years" and has since become the best-selling UFO book ever in the United States. Beginning in 2000, he began teaching a course on UFOs at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Dark Matter: Mankind - The Slave Species?

Does an analysis of man's DNA indicate external manipulation in our ancient past? If so by whom, and for what purpose? Did we suddenly appear 250,000 years ago and has some of our DNA actually been deactivated to make us less superior? Why have humankind and it's gods always been obsessed with gold since it is a soft metal with little use in crafting hard tools? Can information emerging from Sumerian tablets that pre date the Bible by 3,000 years answer these questions?

Author Michael Tellinger will be our guest on Dark Matter and discuss his book: Slave Species of God and explain how new discoveries in genetic engineering parallel information from ancient archaeological finds including the amazing Sumerian texts. Is it possible we were created by an extraterrestrial race as workers - even slaves? How did we spread from Southern Africa to India, the Near East, Europe and the Americas approximately 9000 years ago?

Tellinger calls this the Great Human Puzzle and convincingly argues that what mainstream intelligentsia usually calls myth and fantasy regarding our ancient pantheon of gods may actually historically correct depictions of our creation by the powerful beings that once ruled mankind. These were gods with a small "g" who displayed human-like behavior including lust and vengeance and may still be amongst us today.

Nostradamus Divine Astrology - Dr. Louis Turi

He is called "The Modern Day Nostradamus" for his well documented record of predictions and ability to depict people's fate and hidden personality traits. Like the great prophet, Nostradamus, Dr. Louis Turi was born and raised in Provence, France and was influenced by the great seer's methods of Divine Astrology.

During this episode Dr. Turi will discuss the new Dragon in Leo/Aquarius. Chinese astrologers referred to the nodes of the moon as the Dragon's Head and Tail and assigned immense importance to it's placement in the natal chart. He will also explain the current Supernova window which is a concentration of negative celestial energy approaching.

If that weren't enough, Dr. Turi has also had 4 ufo experiences and we will discuss this as well!

Return of the Alien Hunter!

Dark Matter: Return of the Alien Hunter!

Dark Matter welcomes back to the show UFO researcher Derrel Sims. Though known for his animated presentations laced with homespun humor, UFO researcher Derrel Sims has a serious message: some aliens are deceptive, and in pursuit of their own agenda with little regard for human casualties. In 1994, a journalist dubbed the controversial Texan "the Alien Hunter," a name that aptly characterizes Sims' pro-active approach.

Sims dates his interest in UFOs from his first encounter with "aliens" when he was only a child. He credits his fully-conscious recall of numerous abduction events with the clues he's discovered relating to his events. Though his own visitations ended violently at age 17, from 1968-71, Sims served in the army as a Senior Military Police Officer and in a top-secret capacity with the CIA.

By 1995, Sims had collected an assortment of artifacts/implants, either expelled naturally from the body or from previous surgeries, which he suspected were of extraterrestrial origin. He orchestrated the first public removal of alleged alien implants in Camarillo, California, with two surgeries, and then three more in 1996. Test results from Los Alamos Laboratory and New Mexico Institute of Technology revealed some of the objects to be "meteoric in origin" with unusual elemental composition.

Sims also discovered the phenomenon of fluorescence on UFO abductees. In some cases, a black light shined on the skin following an abduction reveals sub-dermal traces, usually of brilliant green and occasionally forming specific patterns, which Sims speculates could be a kind of alien "secretion."

September 11th Six Years Later

Six years after theSeptember 11th, America finds itself at war in 2 countries, the treasury has been decimated, almost 3800 military servicemen and women have died, at least 27000+ have been wounded and there is no substantial resolution in the near future.

Back home in America, tens of thousands of 911 first responders are being diagnosed with cancers and serious respiratory ailments as a result of the environmental conditions at Ground Zero after being told by the EPA on September 18, 2001 that it was safe. Many of these first responders are now being denied medical benefits and many have already died. This story along with many other 911 related items goes largely unreported by the mainstream press.

Joining us in the studio this week will be two of the creators of the film Loose Change, Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas. We will discuss the upcoming release of Loose Change Final Cut due on November 11, 2007 and the recent anniversary events in NYC 2 weeks ago and finally where do we go from here.

The original version of Loose Change was released on the internet on April 13th, 2005. Since that time it has become an underground juggernaut that was been viewed by tens of millions around the world and is largely responsible for bringing the 911 Truth movement into the mainstream. This was followed by Loose Change 2nd Edition which included an updated timeline of the events of 911. Loose Change: Final Cut is the third and final release of the documentary, with new research, it will be substantially different in content and presentation, while remaining true to the spirit that has put Loose Change where it is today.

Please join us this Sunday at 5PM PST for an extraordinary discussion on Truth, America, the Media, and Justice. If you'd like to ask a question about Loose Change, the events of 9/11/01 call in toll free starting at 5PM PST at 1-888-495-2762.
